Easy Street...or in the ditch?
So often we see it. Bad things happen because people made bad choices based on bad advice. Later on after life falls apart, they've fallen off their path and are feeling stuck in a situation that was caused by a bad choice they made years ago, then compounded by years of going along with other bad choices, they give bad advice to someone. It's the easy way out. The way to get what you want, they say.
The person giving the advice has no idea of the ramifications involved in the choice. It's just like pulling a card out of a deck and saying here, this is what you should do. Yet, so many people fall for it and suddenly their entire life revolves around pulling the Queen of Spades out of the deck. It's too late to blame anyone. You're the one that took the advice. It sounded great! Easy Street! This will get you where you want to go!
A long time ago I was taught by very prudent and loving people, that one should never take the advice of just one person. You should always investigate all the options available. Weigh the pro's and con's. Search your true feelings as well as your motivation. Get more opinions from good, reliable and successful individuals who have a proven track record. Then, after much analysis, soul-searching and careful consideration, make your choice.
A quick and easy decision is often the worst possible choice. It's not that easy you say, because you worked hard on making that happen. Now wait a minute. I didn't say you didn't have to take logical steps to make anything happen. I suggested that it was the initial "quick and easy" decision that was the worst possible choice to make. Why? Well, have you considered how it will affect everyone involved? Have you truly and honestly searched deep within yourself to determine if this easy street answer was just a quick-fix? Have you looked down the road in your mind and soul to visualize how it will affect your life if you do this? How many truly successful people (and I do not mean all relatives and friends) have you run this thought by? Did they endorse it? Did you really weigh the pro's and con's fully, or are you just going with the one or two pro's because you want it so bad you can taste it?
This may seem like a truly non-spiritual topic, yet I assure you it's all about it. Just because someone is spiritual does not mean they are incompetent, blundering idiots. In fact, some of the most spiritual people I know are deep thinkers who care very much about how their choices impact people affected by them. There is not a possibility of your choices not affecting others, they will and they do. To assume your choices do not impact others is foolish and insensitive.
Integrity includes doing the best we can with the available options and then, pushing through to learn other ways of doing things, pushing out of our comfort zone and taking responsibility for our actions or our laziness. We cannot honestly blame another for our refusing to pick up the paper on the floor when we were just to lazy to pick it up ourselves.
My point is, that you always have a choice. When you think you have no choices, go outside your comfort zone and get away from your usual acquaintances and knowledge base and learn how others live and why they have the lives that they have. There is always a price. Even lottery winners have choices to make. Lack of responsibility with the winnings mean those winnings are wasted and gone before they can bat an eyelash and they are left right back where they started, in the salt mine, so to speak. So take your decisions and work. Work on yourself, work on learning and getting out of your easy chair. The rainbow has the pot of gold at the other end for a reason.
Blessings...

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray that all the world is in peace. May the Angels watch over us all with care, and take us when our time is here. In the meanwhile may we share our love and also find peace from up above. While earthly tares may bring us down, it's sure that love will bring us home. *~*SD*~*

We are here in these individual bodies, experiencing our individual paths in a society where the individual is not seen or heard often, excepting those rarities in a celebrity status of sorts.
Yet, the reality is, that we are all connected, in spirit, from Source/The Great Spirit. Regardless of the "religion" or "absence of religion" that our individual selves follow, our spirit connects with the energy of All That Is.
And so, I honor that which is in you, and me, and all of us. We are so blessed to be here.
When the individual self, the "you" that you've come to know in this lifetime, is unhappy, I wish you a magical thought that will feel better, and then another, and then another and another and another, until you come to find the Joy that is.
When someone else "causes" you to feel less than this, it is their ego/fear that needs to feel that way. You can honor their need by sending them well-wishes. They are truly unhappy if they desire to feel above any of us, as we are all one you see; or, they simply haven't awoken to the reality that this lifetime is a playground.
Enjoy the ride, each day is another adventure in the playground of life. May your playmates play fair, May your games be filled with joy, and may you find love, give love in as many ways as you can. I know of no finer game than to seek to do so. No-one ever looses at this game, because love is never lost.
Blessings, with much love and light

The Other Side doesn't want you to do everything Perfectly, that's what they are there for! If you wait until conditions are perfect, you'll never get "it" done. You may have well-meaning friends give you constructive criticism. All we can do is thank them for thinking of us, and then move on with our calling.
No-one has a corner on the market in anything. We're here to put our "two cents worth" in, and by gosh, the key word is OUR two cents worth. Your light is shining so brightly that it would blind most people to look at it for any length of time. I've seen the light in flashes and it's beyond brilliant!
When things seem impassable and the bar is so high you can't cross it, crawl under! The Other Side is supporting you, loving you and giving you inspiration. People here are going to have their ego's in the way and most are not going to understand that your project, path, journey or calling may be the entire reason you are here! Don't let their need to feel superior put you out of business, so to speak.
As Jessie J's tune reminds us, she kept on going and on the other
end of things she became quite popular! I'm thankful for her message...
it's a wonderful reminder that we aren't the only ones being put down
because we aren't doing everything the way everyone else thinks we
should. If you don't fit in, it's because you were BORN TO STAND OUT!!!
And remember, there is more love here for you as well as from the other side than there is anything else. Focus on that, brush off the rest and do your own thing!!!
Blessings...

"We've got to give a little love, have a little hope, make this world a little better"... just love these lyrics! Fluffy? Perhaps it seems that way, but the reality of the hardened people struggling today proves that the other way isn't working! ♥ ♥ ♥
