Hey everyone!
Karla here aka "Spirited" and I'm feeling very spirited these days, inside and out!
Let me give you a short version of the trip my love and I (Dan - my husband) and our family, just went through.
Last fall, Dan went for a routine physical which he is very good about, because both of his parents passed from cancer before they turned 60.
They found something. He didn't hesitate - get it out, cut it out, now. He's brave, thank God!
Surgery was scheduled by him for right after Christmas. Needless to say, our very inner core of family and friends that we feel ARE family, were on needles and pins over Christmas. It didn't feel a lot like the usual Christmas, but with our history, we're used to that, so we roll with whatever the energy brings us.
The surgery went well. Dan is doing fine. His follow-up appointment today was gloriously, magically, synchronistically heaven sent, in my opinion!
His Doctor (the head of the department in this type of surgery) said "You got this just in the nick of time". In another year it would have been full-blown cancer. Out of control. You're recovery is not normal, most people are in tremendous pain.
All of this? What does this mean to you?
Things happen. We all loose our grip, all of us.
We can't be everything to everyone all the time, none of us.
There are times in your life when you'll just have to put some things and people (as much as you love them) on the back burner, because other things take a priority. So you do. You put yourself and your closest loves first. You pray it up, you meditate. You stand under the stars night after night asking the Heavens for help, healing and guidance.
And.... you get it. (That's the magic!) You have to ask!
There will be those that do not understand where you've been, why you did what you did. Turn it over to the universe, let the Angels and your Guides help you handle it.
Because the bottom line is, when you open up to people, in times of illness, tragedy, difficulty, there will be a few people that help you to remember there are still some sweet, kind and loving people in the world there to support you during tough times.
