Holding on through the tough times....

If you've heard my recent blogtalkradio show with Christopher you know some of my story.  If not, here's the link:

More importantly I feel an overwhelming need to say a few things:

Some people are stronger than others.  None of us have the same pain tolerance when it comes to emotion and stress.  Just like the pain tolerance we speak of in relation to physical pain, we are all different when it comes to how much emotional stress we can tolerate without feeling like we're going under.

Don't assume that because you're feeling overwhelmed that someone else should understand that, and vice-versa.... just because you're so tough and have such a "thick skin" does not mean that is the best way to be!

I've personally had dealings with many who felt that way, and as someone who has intuitive and empathic gifts, I learned young how to shut down.  (No, many people will tell you it can't be done, that when Psychic people are truly gifted, they cannot shut it off.  I'm one of the rare ones.... it can be done, and I pray no-one ever has to learn how to do it, it's very painful.  Try walking with a blindfold for a day and then maybe we'll talk about how it feels).

When your body is in disrepair you see a Doctor, when you're overloaded emotionally and mentally there is help as well, you just need to know where to look!  For now, please go to my site www.spiriteddaydreams.com and click on the "Dazzler's" link, then go to "Suicide.org" to get real information.  If that turns you off, try music, art, animals, anything creative to get in touch with your feelings.  Or.... maybe you need work therapy.  Some folks find just going through the motions helps them to take their mind off their concerns while relieving some pressure at the same time.

Megan thanks you for following me.  Her message is, Please don't give up, you'll miss so much!  (And my message?.... Please don't give up.... your family, friends, teachers, those people you were meant to meet, work with, have fun with... will never have the chance to and they will all have altered paths for the rest of their lives.)
