wise people have said it... One Day At A Time. Yesterday is history,
Tomorrow is a Mystery. All we have is Today! The place you're in will change, so make the best of
it!
Like the old fable about Stone Soup.
A man was in a field with a
pot on a fire with water and a stone was in the water. People would
come by and ask him what he was making... Stone Soup, he'd say. Well
they thought that was sad, so one by one a few people
would go back home and bring a few carrots or whatever they had to add
to the pot for him. The end result was a marvelous soup, that they all
contributed to making. When all was said and done, they all partook in the soup that was plentiful for all to enjoy... together!
I wish for you friends who bring or send a carrot for
your stone soup, when you feel that's all you're down to. And more-so, I
hope you can set your pride aside, and put your pot on the fire in the
field and speak up, with the inner strength that it took that man, to start out with nothing but a pot, water, a stone and a humble yet positive attitude!
