Letting go of things that weigh us down is easier for some than others. We have good reasons for doing what we do. Life is tough!
Yes indeed, Life is tough. Bad things can happen to very good people. Navigating the waters in choppy waters with the winds blowing us in all directions can quickly drain our energy.
Here we are in 2012. There really is no need to start a new resolution, to announce to the world that the new you is on the way. What's important is that you are happy!
Life is short. In the blink of an eye you can pass a few decades and wonder where it went. This is YOUR life, no-one else's. It's up to you to find what makes you feel happy.
Change is inevitable. Like Death and Taxes, change will continue to affect us all. How we roll with the changes in our lives can make all the difference as to how we perceive our lives to be. No-one outside you can do it for you, only you can stop, focus and breathe when life swirls around you demanding your attention in so many directions.
Decisions are what makes your life yours, in many ways. The lack of making a decision is very much a decision, as you give your power away. Just as in the making of a wonderful meal, even the smallest amount of certain spices can make or break the taste, the aroma and the general enjoyment of it.
As you enter your own 2012 year, may you simply notice what ingredients you are continually allowing to be part of your power, your days, your moments. Replacing some ingredients can make your life so much richer, letting go of a job you hate, a habit you are ready to release, etc. Adding something new might enhance your experience and indeed change your entire life.
May we all notice those things that we continually add to our days and nights, and have the strength to know, when to hold on, and when to let go... and may the Great Spirit and the Angels give us the added strength needed to do so.
Make it a great personal 2012. Take a Chance! If you never take a chance to do something you've always wanted to do, when will it happen? Tomorrow is not promised and there NEVER is a perfect time. You've simply gotta believe in yourself, put your ducks in a row the best you can by examining the basics of what is needed to get this thing happening and then... take one step at a time. Before long those baby steps become a nice smooth and pleasant jog. As the wise ones say... you have to walk before you can run! Just be sure you don't keep your feet under your seat so long that you miss your chance completely!
Blessings... with and for Love and Peace to all,
Karla
